Lincoln is already 15 months old!!! He is getting so big. We went to the doctor last week for his check up and he is doing great. He weighs 27lbs 6oz and was 34 inches tall!!! He has grown a lot since his 1 year check up. The boy eats anything and everything we put in front of him...which is a lot different than Timothy who is a very picky eater. Lincoln is getting his own personality now. He is talking so much....not really saying much we can understand but trying really hard. He does a say a handful of words that we are able to understand such as momma, dadda, NO, yes, thank you, bye, and hi. He is also very busy. He does not like to sit down. He just goes not stop and gets into EVERYTHING!!!!!! He has also learned how to climb up on the furniture. He loves to do it but has not yet mastered the concept of we sit on the couch not run on the couch. Needless to say there has been a few minor falls!!! It's amazing to me how different Lincoln and Timothy are. When Timothy was Lincoln's age he was very layed back and calm. We could have picture frames on the bottom shelve of our book case and Timothy would never touch them. Lincoln is a total opposite....knocking down the pictures, turning the TV on and off constantly, and trying his hardest to figure out a way to get the outlet safety plugs out!!! He definitely keeps me on my toes.
A few weeks ago Timothy had his progress report at preschool. He is doing a really good job. Most of the skills they have been working on he has mastered. He has a few things that we are working on with him at home such as cutting with scissors, tracing, and stringing beads on to a thread. They had parent teacher conferences at his school and Ryan stayed at the house with all the daycare kids while I went and met with his teachers. They told me that he is doing really well. He apparently is a very polite boy and has good manners at school. I wish he would act that way at home but I'm glad he behaves himself at school. His teachers told me that he is quiet but is staring to come out of his shell a little. He will participate in class but the teacher has to initiate it first. He really seems to be enjoying school. He gets so excited when it's time to leave for school and when he gets home he talks about his friends and teachers. I can tell he is learning so much. He will randomly start singing songs that I haven't taught him so I know he must have learned them at school. I am so glad that we decided to send him to preschool this year!!!
